Back In Black Football entered Saturdays contest ready to compete. Several key Back In BLack players were unavailble at game time for the contest April 23rd against the Panthers. The skeleton crew for the silver and black put together an effort for the ages during the game.

From the onset the Back In BLack defense brought a heavy hammer to the contest, scoring the games first points by nailing down a safety midway through the first quarter. Several players tallied multiple sacks in securing a shut out win for Back in Black. On the year, this unit has registered four shut out efforts. The Offense also showed up for this contest. The tone was set early on with Back In Blacks first play from scrimmage which gained 40 yards on a rush by Buck, who ripped into the panthers second level like a freshely sharpened chainsaw. Back In Blacks Offensive line put together a stellar effort during the first half.

Back in Black's Field general QB Corey Dowden played like a true veteran, hitting on 11 of 16 passes for 179 yards. Dowden also used his legs to dash for a whopping 154 yards on 5 carries in addtion to operating the game plan flawlessly. Dowdens performance contributed 325 yards of total offense for the day.
